Q1: How can an individual order your translations?

A1: We fundamentally are oriented toward institutions. We would accept, however, a translation order for an individual in the case of scientific articles from academic institutions or college laboratories.

 

Q2: What are your translation prices?

A2: Detailed pricing depends on the specific document, due date and the size of the document, and so on. Please feel free to contact us at +81-42-229-9527 (phone), +81-42-229-9528 (facsimile), or e-mail to (plusone-patent@mbe.nifty.com) if you have any questions. There are no charges for an estimate-request. You can fax or e-mail the completed request form to us. The fax number is +81-42-229-9528.

 

Q3: How can we request your translations?

A3:
1. Please contact us using the estimate-request form on our site, and fax it to (+81-42-229-9528) or e-mail it to (info@plusone-patent.co.jp).
2. We will forward our estimate/quotation free of charge.
3. Your documents may be sent as e-mail attachments to (info@plusone-patent.co.jp), by fax to (+81-42-229-9528), or if necessary by postal service.
4. We will e-mail a confirmation letter.
5. Please contact us at +81-42-229-9527 (phone) or +81-42-229-9528 (facsimile) if you don't receive our confirmation letter.

Please note that a coordinator is responsible to serve customers from the acceptance of the estimate/quotation request form to product delivery.

 

Q4:What languages do you translate?

A4: So far, only English and Japanese. With 35 years of translating experience English to Japanse and vice-versaes specially with technical documents and scientific articles, we believe you would find our work quick and of a professional quality. If necessary, we will introduce trustworthy translation agencies for other languages.

 

Q5: Do you limit the amount of documents to be translated?

A5: No, we do not limit the amount of documents.

 

Q6: Can we ask you for a rush order?

A6: Yes, but please contact us for a confirmation.

 

Q7: Can you tell your terms of payment?

A7: After your satisfaciton of our delivery is confirmed, we will send you a bill. Please make a transfer to our bank account by the end of the following month.

 

Q8: Do you offer a free trial translation ?

A8: Yes, we offer a trial translation of 100 words, free of charge.

 

Q9: Please explain your confidentiality policy.

A9:Top priority is given to customer confidentiality and your document's safety. We strongly believe that a trusteeship between customers and our company must be built on customer confidentiality, so we can prepare a confidentiality agreement with you, if necessary.

 

Q10: Do we get charged for further changes or any questions after the delivery is done?

A10: We have an unconditional, unique guarantee system, such as having no charges for re-correcting translated documents, or for quesitons on the translated document after your review of it.

 

Q11: What about documents that have been revised ?

A11: Please be kind enough to tell us the revised parts of the document. When their are a few revised parts, we will change the translated document free of charge, following to your revisions. Let us know as soon as possible, in advance if revisions are expected.

 

Q12: Can we specify the software format for translation output?

A12: We can use common software applications such as, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

Q13: Do you charge for drawing charts or scanning documents?

A13: Please let us know in advance whether you will require us to do layout work, so that the layout work fee can be estimated in the quotation.

 

Q14:What are the cancellation fees?

A14:When we have already done translation work at the time of your cancellation request, we will charge the standard rate for only the completed work at that point. If you have to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
